1. Introduction

Mitikasha LLC ("TableRune," "we," "us," or "our") operates TableRune, a browser-based tool for importing, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing tabular data. TableRune is a product of Mitikasha LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, and what we do not.

The defining principle of TableRune is that your data is processed entirely on your own device, inside your browser. Your files and their contents are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers. We never see them.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

2.1 Your Data

When you open a file in TableRune, all processing (parsing, cleaning, transformation, aggregation, and export) runs locally in your browser, on your own device. The resulting file is saved directly from your browser to your computer. We do not receive, transmit, store, log, or have any access to your data or its contents.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 License and Device Information

When you activate TableRune Pro, your browser generates a device key pair. On activation, your license key and the public half of that key pair are sent to our licensing service and stored there with a device fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash of the public key), your subscription tier and status, and a last-seen timestamp; the private half never leaves your device and cannot be read out, even by our own code. This is what binds a license to a device and enforces the device limit on your plan (up to 3 devices). The entitlement token itself is stored locally in your browser and verified on your device with a cryptographic signature check.

Your entitlement is deliberately short-lived, so the application re-verifies with our licensing service every few days (and works offline in between). That check transmits your device fingerprint and a signature, and nothing else; it is what ends Pro if your subscription lapses. Activation does not require an account, and no part of it transmits your files or their contents.

3.2 Purchase Information

TableRune Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a license, Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card numbers. We receive limited order metadata (such as the purchaser email, order/license identifier, and product purchased) to issue and support your license.

3.3 Cloud AI (planned, not currently available)

TableRune does not currently offer any cloud or AI feature: all processing happens on your device, and no file data (or metadata about it) is sent anywhere. We may introduce an optional Cloud AI assistant in the future. If we do, it will be strictly opt-in, it will never send your actual rows, and we will update this policy to describe exactly what is sent before the feature ships.

3.4 Hosting & Technical Data

TableRune is delivered as static files, and some of its components are served from our own first-party asset domain (assets.tablerune.com) via our hosting provider. As with any website, our hosting provider processes standard request metadata (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) for the purpose of securely delivering the application. This metadata is not linked to any data content (which we never receive) and is not used to build advertising profiles.

3.5 Usage Measurement

TableRune does not include third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. Any usage measurement we perform is limited to aggregate, content-free metrics (for example, which features are used) that never include your data or its contents.

3.6 Feedback You Send Us

TableRune includes an optional feedback form. If you choose to use it, we store what you write (your message, and an email address only if you supply one so we can reply) together with lightweight context: the same-origin page you sent it from and a truncated copy of your browser's user-agent string. This is saved in our database and used solely to read, understand, and act on your feedback. Providing an email is optional, it never includes your files or their contents, and we keep it only as long as we need it to follow up.

4. How We Use Information

  • To deliver, maintain, and improve the TableRune application
  • To issue, validate, and support TableRune Pro licenses
  • To fulfil purchases and handle refunds (through Lemon Squeezy)
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To read and act on feedback you send through the feedback form
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized license use
  • To comply with our legal and tax obligations

5. Data Sharing

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Lemon Squeezy: processes purchases and refunds as our Merchant of Record.
  • Hosting provider: delivers the static application and asset files.
  • Legal requirements: where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Mitikasha LLC, our users, or third parties.

We do not sell your personal information. Because we never receive your data files, there is no file content for us to share, lose, or disclose.

6. International Data Transfers

TableRune is operated from the United States. If you are located elsewhere, the limited license and purchase metadata described above may be processed in the US and in other countries where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law (e.g. UK GDPR, EU GDPR).

7. Data Security

The application is served over encrypted connections (TLS). Because your data is processed locally and never transmitted to us, the most sensitive information you handle in TableRune never traverses our infrastructure at all. The limited license and purchase metadata we hold is protected with industry-standard safeguards.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the limited personal data we hold about you (e.g. purchase email and license records)
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your purchase/license records, subject to legal and tax retention rules
  • Object to certain processing or withdraw consent

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@mitikasha.com. You can sign out a device from the license page, which removes its record from our licensing service and frees its activation slot; clearing TableRune's site data in your browser removes only the copy stored locally.

9. Data Retention

We retain purchase and license records for as long as needed to support your license and to meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations, after which they may be deleted. We retain no data files, because we never collect them.

10. Children's Privacy

TableRune is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
